Chum Run!
Snout out |
Late Fall in the Gig Harbor area means one thing…..Annual Chum Salmon runs. These pictures were taken yesterday in the Rosedale area. The tide was high enough that the Salmon could go straight into the Culvert pipe that ends up running underneath a road and into a stream.

The species is known as a Common Loon in North America and the Great Northern Diver in Eurasia.
