"Sea Mouse" sighting
This has been a good week for bird watching. On Sunday I was fortunate enough to capture some pictures of my second favorite duck..... the Wood duck. Today (after four days of being on the road) I look outside to see a pair of my favorite all time duck, the Harlequin.
Here is something new I just read about this beautiful duck: “When engaged in behavioral interactions, the Harlequin Duck gives distinctly un-ducklike squeaks, the source of one of its local names: sea mouse”.
